Miss Katie tried her hand at makeup today while Mama wasn't looking. She particularly got carried away with the concealer (see pic above) and PAR-fume. Boy howdy. This was after she snuck watercolors and gave Caroline a couple of screwdrivers to play with. I've mentioned that these girls have plenty of sass and thought I'd document some of my favorite examples before I lose my mind entirely and forget..."I'm right back!" - when Katie leaves a room she says "I'll be right back," when she returns she always says "I'm right back!"
"I want too much!!" - I regularly tell Katie "that's too much" (again, note concealer pic above) so when she wants more of something she says (or screams) "I want too much!" For instance, "Katie, would you like a little bit of ice cream?" "No, I want too much!!"
And finally, we've been having a lot of discussions lately about where God and Jesus live. We've established that they live in Heaven and that you go there when you die. I've been on to Katie about wiggling and not staying quiet for prayers (i.e. yelling out I want my story! in the middle of a prayer is inappropriate) so we had a long conversation last night about how it's important to thank God for your blessings and talk to Him everyday even though he is in Heaven. Katie's response: "I'll talk to Him when I get there!" God help us!
